MacBook Stand In Speed-Boosting Shocker | Gadget Lab | Wired.com.

Great validation on the Speed Boosting effects of the BookArc. You can try the same test too. If you are currently using a MacBook connected to an external monitor in dual-screen mode – just close it. Run your MacBook closed while connected to your external. Now run a graphics intensive app like Photoshop, Lightroom, etc. Is it faster? Snappier? Wired thought it was. Now you only have one problem. How can you stand up your closed MacBook clean and out of the way on your desk?… Hmm.

  • You are right, but I was already running my MacBook closed with an external monitor before getting the BookArc. True that it helps save space on my desk, but I think you should emphasize one more important advantage of your product: not only it makes your setup look cooler but it also makes your MacBook run much cooler! I received my BookArc today and I am extremely impressed. My MacBook used to be always warm (sometimes very warm) but today after putting it in the BookArc it has been on for many hours and it is cool! Cool = longer life to your electronic components, energy savings, less probability of damaging your expensive desk, etc. Run some tests and use them for marketing purposes! — A very satisfied customer.
